This picture doesn't make any sense. The axial tile is towards/away from the Sun. Since DSCOVR is on the Earth-Sun line, the Earth's poles will tilt towards/away from DSCOVR, NOT left/right as this picture shows. If you look through the original images on the website you can see the axial tilt as you flip through the seasons -- in December it's tilted to the south pole, and in June it's tiled to the North pole.
